Wouldnt that solve everything instead of having to hurry and say your piece before it gets locked up?

I just think any official thread should be just that. Any bickering that goes on about the announcement can on in some member created thread. Just my opinion

it would keep the thread nice and clean and you wouldn't have to pour through looking for actual official word.

Since he's still working on it, I doubt he has nailed down a difinitive features list. I'm sure you will get one when he feels comfortable releasing it.
