When I first load game, what patches do I need?

Hi guys,

I'm going to load the game in the next day or two, but I know that there are patches, etc. that I'll probably want to download to help enhance the game.

Once I install OOTP 11, how do I know what, or how many patches I should download and install...and are all of them essential to game play?

The game will download and come fully patched already. No additional patches required. The final OOTP version was 11.2.28 per the link at the top of the forum. This should display at the top left of the main menu screen.

so it doesn't matter that this game was purchased in CD form? does it grab patches when you first install it?

Yep, you'll have to get the patch from Viva Media per the link noted. Sorry again for the misinformation.

Just bought the CD version of the game and waiting for it to be mailed. I did try the demo version and loved it . Will I need to download any patches?
