Reliever Star Ratings
It seems like a lot of my relievers show on most displays as having five or six stars, but if I click on the scouting report tag they have 2-3 stars.
WASSUP WITH THAT? |

usually if u r looking at them on say a draft pool they r scouted by OSA and when u look at their player page its by your scout...or vice versa.

Also, the ratings are usually based against all others who play the same position. Depending on how and what year you play, a reliever could be rated really high as compared to all others and still not be very good.
I believe there is a game setting where you can base ratings against all players or just players in that position. Not sure if it is possible for one scouting system to be one way and the other scouting system the other. It is possible for your team scout to over/under rate a player compared to what he is really worth. |

I think what is going on is what Bahgoon mentioned here. I think when I click the "scouting report" tag it's showing some sort of unmodified rating whereas on other screens it is displaying my relief pitcher's ratings compared to the rest of the league. I'm pretty sure my scout's ratings are always displayed for me and not the OSA ratings.
