The AMBL Historic was born out of the remnants of a modern day league called the AMBL. That league failed after 6 full seasons due to OOTP issues. After that a group of remaining GMs from that league agreed to continue in a smaller, historic based league that began play in 1961.

I'm looking to fill the San Francisco Giants & the Pittsburgh Pirates for 1969. We just expanded the league to add the Padres, Expos, Royals, & Pilots and we haven't even had the expansion draft yet. I need to fill these last 2 teams before we do the expansion draft so the new GMs of the Giants & Pirates have the opportunity to protect the players they want.

We now have the Oakland A's available. We just finished the 1969 expansion draft and have barely begun the free agency period between the 1968 and 1969 seasons. It's a great time to join the league. If you're interested please contact me as posted in the OP.
