Reducing Backup Time ??

I back up my "saved games" directory fairly often. As the seasons pass, it takes longer & longer to backup due to the accumulating number of "almanac" directorys for past seasons. These directories have tons of html files in the "leagues", "players" and "teams" folders.

Do I really need these html files? Deleting them sure would speed up the backup....

If you never look at the Almanacs, you don't need them, and you can turn this function off in League Setup. The game doesn't use them -- they are entirely for your entertainment.

Backing up more often decreases the time to do so as well - because it only backs up the changed files since your last backup.
