info box Corrections?

This is tiny, insignifigant and really mundane... One of the info boxes that gives us tidbits of folklore, legend, and player fame, states something to the effect that no player has ever hit more than two singles in one inning of a game... I thought I was reading this wrong as it quickly was replaced by another info box. Just for the record I looked up that stat and several players have hit more than two singles in one inning the biggest being Von Hayes June 11 1985 hitting two home runs (the second HR A Grand Slam).

Now there may be more updated info, I think I remember somebody getting two grand slams in an inning a couple years ago but couldnt find it on Wikipedia or the Baseball Almanac.

Comments or should I just go back to playing ball? ...lol

Yeah, all that bit of trivia is saying is that nobody has ever hit 3 or more singles in an inning.

It isn't making any claims on TB's or overall productivity.

Fernando Tatis did it with the Cardinals back in '99.

Quote:
Tatís enjoyed a career year in 1999 with the St. Louis Cardinals, when he hit 34 home runs with 107 RBI and 21 stolen bases while posting a .298 batting average. On April 23, 1999, Tatís made history by hitting two grand slams in a single inning. He hit both against Chan Ho Park of the Los Angeles Dodgers. With this feat, Tatís also set a Major-League record with eight RBI in a single inning.
