Foul Balls

Is it just me or do others notice that when there is a foul ball hit in the infield is is always caught?

I am only into my 15th regular season game, which I play out every game in one pitch mode, and so far I have seen an average of 3-5 foul balls per game fouled off and none ever travel out of the field of play; they are always caught!

Does anyone else notice this?

There's the answer right there. It wouldn't be one pitch if you kept fouling off pitches.

I guess I never thought if it that way!

Even if it is one pitch mode, it would be nice to get an occasional foul ball out of play without having to play out every pitch to see one.

Thanks

Oh, that's nothing. Wait until you see how many unsuccessful attempted pick off throws you don't see.

But then it wouldn't be 1-pitch mode. I rarely play in one pitch mode because I like seeing the count develop, instead of 1-pitch mode where you can see what the count is and know a lot about the outcome before the pitch is thrown.

For example when you do 1 pitch mode, and the count starts 3-0, it's almost always a walk, but if you do it pitch by pitch that 4th pitch is often a strike.

I agree with everything said here. But it just takes too long. Even 10-15min for a one-pitch game on fast PbP is almost too long. Maybe I'm impatient.

i agree same here, i would prefer to be able to let the game play out and intervene as needed as i did with High Heat in mange only mode......when i wanted to do a pickoff attempt or a pitchout then i hit either enter then select what i want to do...i get bored telling him to pitch 4-7 time an at bat.
