Unrealistic fictional league stats

Hey guys, I just created a fictional league... I have all the batting and pitching set to the regular - 1.000, I am seeing extremely unrealistic stats like players getting 175 RBI and hitting .420, How can I make the stats more realistic? thanks

Is it the first year in the league? The first seasons tend to be a little wierd because of the players generated at league creation. Many recomend to sim 20 season and the delete all history.

You can also import a specific year league totals setting, that should do the trick as well.

Ok thanks, I will do that... I did notice that after I simmed the 3rd season ,the stats were not as ridiculous as the first

That's not true, the game starts producing good results from day 1 of a new fictional league. Maybe the TO tweaked the player creation settings or simply experienced a statistical fluke.

Might want to check ballpark settings. I had to scrap a league once because I failed to check this. Some park settings were ridiculous. Not blaming this on the game...I honestly can't remember how I went about setting up the league (it was last year). Just something you might want to check.

Well, just to say the Major leagues have had .420 seasons (Sisler, Hornsby, and I believe Cobb but I cant remember his best season)

And we have had up to 190 RBIs (or 191 I forget which they are crediting Hack Wilson with this year)

In any case, some careers of players that people have posted seem to be more ludicrous for me than any season. But, that is preference.

In my first season of my fictional game, I had two + .400 hitters. I reduced some of the settings, and in my second season, the highest average is only around .360.
