Is there a way to delete a manager?
I'd like to know if it's possible to delete a manager from the game. Someone like Frank Wren, who is the GM of the Braves. I want to delete him so I can make a human GM called Frank Wren... Because I want to be him in my league but there can't be 2 Frank Wrens! So I'm just wondering if it's possible. Thanks.

It depends. Would you trade Yunel Escobar and a prospect for Alex Gonzalez?
![]() Actually, I do not know if there is a way to delete the Manager. It mght be possible to rename them somehow, but I'm at work right now, so I can't provide any specifics on how this might be done. |

Also, small question about the previous 'manager'. I noticed they still stay on the staff and staff payroll even if the human is the GM. For example, if I took over the Yankees' GM duties, I'd look up Brian Cashman and he'd be listed as 'manager' hired by the Yankees. What effect does that GM (in this case, Cashman) have on the team?

Actually, I'm willing to bet the game will allow two managers of the same name.
I'm pretty sure all the people in the game are controlled by unique numerical identifiers (IDs). So you could create a new manager with everything (including birthplace, etc.) exactly identical to the existing manager. The only problem should be the problem you would have in distinguishing the two people. You could go into commissioner mode and add something like "II" to your name or "real" to his name or add different nicknames to help you know who's who.
