Dmitri Young in trouble...

Dmitri Young, former MLB player, was arrested on drug charges in Illinois (possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana).

He's had previous problems with substance abuse, and if I recall correctly, both he and his brother Delmon have been in trouble before. (Wasn't Demon suspended for 50 games for a bat/umpire incident when he was in the minors?)

Smoking pot isn't that big a deal these days?

Also, it's a $100 bail!

Nah, it's not all that big of a deal, I guess - and it's certainly better than being accused of rape or something.

Sad that he fell back into his addiction problems, tho'. Wish him the best. Just seems like nothing but trouble for that family.

Whatever, dude.

It's classified as a drug for a reason. 'Nuff said.

Edit: And I'm not getting into a discussion on the legalities of the stuff, nor the ethics.

Then why post an article about it?

You post an article, I assume to generate discussion.

I guess you're openly open to discussion when it fits your viewpoint.

Didn't he hit three homers on opening day four or five years ago? I have this memory of a story about it on mlb.com.
