Anybody else waiting for the "big update" before starting a game?

I've been playing since release day but I don't think my heart is as into my team as normal since the "big update" is coming. I always add an expansion team to the MLB quickstart and do a lot to customize the experience, sometimes on a game to game basis.

I think it is because I may have to restart the game anyway to have the all the features take effect.

Anyone else feel the same way?

No..not here. When the update is release then I will be just as excited about it as everyone else. But, I personally am not wasting time anticipating the update. I think the current version of OOTP 11 is a great game as is right now.

I do as well. It's not stopping me from playing around a little bit. But I'd like to play on a version that has all of the little bugs fixed up.

No way. To me there are no huge game breaking bugs. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Why deprive myself of the pleasure that's OOTP11 ?

Sure, there's bugs, but they're not going to stop me from enjoying myself or playing. That would be like refusing to play the game because umpires blow calls, IMO.

It's highly unlikely you'll have to restart the game. New features will still take effect. The only thing that might differ is, there may be (not definitely) a roster update for the MLB.

I'm waiting for the final update, not just the big one. Updating versions of OotPB is a major pain on my machine.

EDIT: …and post 4000!

I wouldn't want to start a new season with a roster that didn't (at least closely) match the start of the season, anyway.

I haven't played OOTP11 in weeks. The severity of the AI releasing top prospects in this game has made me revert back to OOTPX, and I likely won't go back unless Markus fixes this.

I don't see this happening at all. Check your settings.

Plenty of people have seen it. I haven't seen it too often, butI see a lot of great prospects left exposed on waivers and let go for nothing often. I never had that problem with waivers or AI releasing prospects in OOTPX.

Huh I haven't seen this in v11. It seems to be much better in this regard than v10 in my opinion.

Once the "big update" comes out it's only 9 months until a bigger update (rumored to be called OOTP 12) comes out so you might want to wait until then. Of course after OOTP 12 comes out it's probably just a few weeks until that first patch so I'd recommend waiting until then. Of course...
