Reserve Roster Question
I have a 15-man reserrve roster, no minor leagues. Will a young player's development be aided by remaining on the reserve roster or doe sit make no difference if he is moved to the major roster ASAP?

Well, I think development is the same as if you had coaches turned off. That is, development still occurs, but it is guided by default parameters and is the same for everyone in the league (no one benefits or is hampered by the ratings of coaches). So, yes, development still matters.

OOTP Baseball Manual - Reserve Rosters
4th paragraph, last sentence. Have fun, it is a great game. LP Edit: I also assume that the risk to injury is lower on the reserve roster. That would have to be confirmed by some one more knowledgeable.
