Can Names No Longer Be Manually Edited?

I can neither edit the names nor the nicknames of my players and staff. I can regenerate a name..but I dont remember this being true of any other iteration of the game.

Does anyone know what is going on? Is this an intentional choice Markus made?

To edit names/nicknames etc., you have to delete the .odb file. The game goes there first. I believe it worked that way in X as well.

I edited a few names/nicknames myself just the other day.

Did you hit "enter" after each box?
