Strange issue with Sprite DB

I am using the Spritenoasians DB (long time user of ootp, and have some limited db experience.)

I start a new historic league - everything is on default setting

after a few seasons things start to fall apart:
One league I stopped getting closers or starters - they were all created as MR
then I started looking into it with the editor - many pitchers were getting rated as a potential of 1 in stam, and 1/2 if not all pitchers were getting a one in fastball potential and no other pitches (affecting their stuff rating considerably)
I had Pedro Martinez come out as a CF once...with pitchers ratings (minus the pitches of course)

I scrapped the league and started over again, same problem minus the stam issue.

Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong here? I have not even opened the sprite files so they have not been modified, I am getting no errors, and the first 3-5 seasons play out normal.

Also - I am looking for a random debut DB if anyone has one laying around

I forgot to add that the injury rating for everyone started coming out as fragile as well - and the year has nothing to do with it - I have started a new league during a year that I had issues in a diff league and the problem was not present until a few years later.

I don't use it (usually I do but this year I'm happy with the one included in the game). But check your setup if it looks like that for the players import

I'm sure if you base the rating on their entire career it will corect your pitcher problem.
For the injury rating; maybe I'm wrong but I'm almost certain that all the new players came with fragile in the game database also. It doesn't rest like that very long.
