set me straight on recalc

1-say the year is 1980, in the 3 year recalc function 1979, 80 and 81 will be used to get the ratings, correct?

2-what about the ammy draft? players for that draft -1980-will have real stats listed for the next year 1981 (the first of stats listed are 1981) how is the recalc figured than because many players are developed and ready to fit in on MLB squads. is 81 and 82 used as an average? then in the game year 1981, is it still 81 and 82 as the avarage since these players have no 1980 stats?---guess i am trying to figure how the 3 year calc starts with rookies. what is the progression.

3-since recalc is used and ratings reset, potentials are really not that important. though i guess a player could increase his ratings for that year. is that correct? really the real stats would be more important.

4-do the personality traits (work ethic) or pitchers individual pitch ratings (fastball etc)or pitcher groundball pct ever change with realc?

thanks in advance. help me get a good notes sleep tonight
