How accurate is Scouting

Sometimes I wonder,but here is my Scout's report for Justin Smoak and his first year stats with the Texas Rangers. Pretty darn accurate I'd say..

The ratings in the display are OSA ratings (which aren't very accurate), not the scout's ratings. I think Bigrod was pointing out how well the scout did in the text scouting report.

Exactly..I just thought it was quite amazing how close my scout was in predicting the stats Scout: .310/.400/.530 30 HR 110 RBI. Actual 1st yr. Player stats: .312/.409/.570 40HR 114 RBI. Pretty darn close..
Scouts ratings are nothing spectacular..Majors=Good, Minors=Excellent, Int'l & Amateur=Outstanding. Scouting Accuracy set to "Very High"
