Base Potential Ratings on Peak Seasons of Career??

How does the game work this out for historical leagues?

Does it take an average for the best three individual seasons by a player in non chronological order( i.e, 1921,1924 and 1926 and average them), or does it take an average of the best period of a player i,e 1921-1926? Is it three seasons,or more, or is it something completely different?

Also what is used for determining the players best season, avg, ops, slg??

Is there also any differnce to using gambo/spritze db or the default one?

Cheers

Yes ... unless someone tells me different.

Well, it's a complicated formula, but it's no different from the way in which potential is calculated with any other option. It's just that the data used is different.

No.

No.
That's not true. The Spritze DB has like 3x as many players and players debut at 18 years of age. The Lahman DB only debuts when they appeared in their first major league game. meaning, career minor leaguers never appear as well as negro leaguers, but they do in Spritze.
