Easier logos and colors?

Is there a way to have the game automatically detect logos and apply them without having to go through each team? Also, didn't there used to be a feature to automatically detect team colors based off of the logo?

I'm creating a 1985 historical league with near full minor leagues but it is a painstaking process to go through and edit each team and load their logo when it should just be able to detect it in the logo folder.

Also, why can't you copy and paste HTML color codes into each line instead of having to manually type it every time you want to replicate it for the cap or uni?

See the online OOTP 11 manual.

I figured out the logos. Is there no way to automatically import colors? I did not see anything in the manual other than doing this manually for each team...

Are you sure about that? I haven't tried it with 11 yet, but with version X and earlier I used copy and paste all the time for those HTML codes. Be a shame if this no longer works for some reason.

To the team logo file name add an

"_HEXDEC_HEXDEC" to the end. This will import colors for the team. The first color is the team background, the second is the text color.

For example: New_York_(a)_Yankees_012245_ffffff.png

It's in the manual on this page.

Thanks for the page. I was wondering if somehow it could pull the colors off of the logo but I guess it makes sense that it would need the hex code. Just trying to save myself the time of editing colors for 100+ teams but I wound up doing it anyway. Are there any mods that have this already for majors AND minors?

This one can be loaded from the game via OOTP Menu >> Add-ons Central.

One option I use for my full-minors fictional league is a tiny little piece of freeware called Pixie, self-proclaimed as the "ultimate colo(u)r picker". It gives you the HTML color code on any color you hover over in your desktop, with easy copy and paste keystrokes.

I've got the logo installed for each team. How can I change the MLB logo.

Thanks!
