Previous seasons' team transaction log

I was going to do a 20 a year sim, but I was also going to try to follow the path of the Brewers. They traded a bunch of their top prospects for other players, but the only way to see whom was trade for whom is to go into the player history screen.

Is this data saved elsewhere? Do I need to have an almanac going to have access to this if I want to look at a previous year? I'm guessing I just answered my own question with that last sentence.

Game Setup - Global Setup, right hand side. Keep transaction logs. You can set it for none, 2 or 10 years, or all. You'll still have to search through them to find the transactions, but it's not difficult.
