Sorry about this news

Its not often i am lost for words so I best tell it as it is my friends.
I had some bad news just before Christmas, but decided to let you enjoy your Christmas and New Year before telling you all this. It seems have a tumour in my brain and also a lump in or on my left lung.Yes its cancer.I have had lots of scans done at the hospital also camera down my chest. Don't worry i feel OK i am in no pain. Just a matter now of waiting about three weeks for the test results to find out if i have a fighting chance or not

So sorry to hear this. Medicine is so advanced and the hopes for cancer patients are so much higher. I'm sure that all of the OOTP community wishes you well.

Cancer

I had Cancer (In my case non-Hotchkins Lymphoma). That was fifteen years ago. I had a bone marrow transplant and have been clean ever since. Cancer is not necessarily a death sentence. Good luck to you.

Our prayers are with you Danny. Keep that chin up. It may not be as bad as you believe, but, I know you will have the strength to deal with whatever comes.

Scarey Shhite, Danny. I have a couple of relatives who had surgery for cancer and lived long lives. Don't give up hope, old chum! Modern medicine is doing wonderful things.

Prayer can't hurt either.

No Surrender!

A positive attitude and determination to fight the disease seems to help many people, even those with the worst prognoses. Defeatism and giving up seems to accelerate the disease.

Right now, this is a standing 8 count. Fight back with all you've got. We're all in your corner.
