Evolving Leagues Question

As a fictional player I LOVE the idea of this feature and plan to use it, but I have some questions on how exactly it will work.
For instance a new owner might relocate the team, okay but are their any parameters? Like I don't think I would find it all that realistic if say the new owner of the Yankees on my game decided to move the team to Lubbock, Texas. Not realistic.
Same as auto-expansion, will it just randomly pick a town like it does when you create a team now or are their any kind of options like population size, location etc. that you can set?
Like maybe when a team relocates I can have an option that they relocate to a city with a similar or larger size. And expansion maybe go to the largest current city with no team or one of etc.
And I assume the expansion will only happen in the league's home country, right? An American league won't auto expand to say Montreal I assume.

I'd like to see an RTR on this. There are a lot of possibilities here. I hope that young leagues start with small cities and expand regionally before expanding nationally or internationally. This is a realistic progression of expansion back when baseball started. Of course if a new league were to start in 2010 then perhaps only the major cities would be represented. Lots of possibilites. I'd like to know how he decided to implement this.

In the RTR 5 thread, Markus said this:

I hope in the inevitable Evolving League RTR, they mention if we can choose to have some teams evolve and not others. Like I wouldn't want the Chicago Cubs to move, but I could care less about Florida Marlins moving. And I wouldn't want certain teams to sell out of the family either. I hope we have that granularity of choices.

Historical leagues change according to history. The evolving leagues option is aimed squarely at fictional leagues.

I know. I was using real teams as an example.

Now I play what I call Historical Fictional leagues. I mimic to the best of my ability the history of the Major Leagues and their minor league affiliates, add teams, removing teams, adding rules according to when these events happened in MLB history.

I however do not like knowing if a player is supposed to be good, so therefore I play this history using entirely fictional rosters.

I am a fan of having owners move after say the year 2020, but I really want to know if I can prevent owners from doing so while I am trying to mimic baseball history.

I do kind of the same thing, I don't follow the MLB quite as specifically. The end result is always a league that comes out like the MLB: 2 Leagues, 3 Divisions each. Teams some times vary and rules and expansions are usually + or - a year or two just to add in a little randomness. However, when you really look at it the Cubs are kind of an oddity as most other teams from before the first expansion of the 90's moved at least once.

I agree more information should be given on this feature. I find it concerning that teams may arbitrarily move because of new owners. I assume we won't see anything like leases with the City? Attendence requirements? Fan morale/interest as a factor? Franchise prestige? Does the owner sell under specific circumstances or just because he's no longer interested in being an owner? Seeing the Cubs sold and moving to Lincoln doesn't seem very intriguing to me.
