OOTP X Compliant MLB Logo Set

Quote:
OOTP X Community - Looking for feedback on my OOTP X compliant MLB Logo Pack. Currently working on compliant International and Pacific Coast League packs, as well as alternate and historical logos.
Major League Baseball Logo Pack
v0.1 - June 6, 2009

Images formatted to be used in Out of the Park Development's OOTP X (ootpdevelopments.com).

Install: Copy the contents of the "MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL 2009" folder into the "logos" folder located in the root directory of the OOTP X install folder entitled "OOTP Baseball 10." Once copied, all MLB based games will feature the enclosed logos.

Any changes to the default configuration of files may result in less than desired results.

All content © Major League Baseball (Logo use under fair non-commercial).

Very Nicely done. I'd suggest added a league logo to the sets and if you have time to do the entire minor leagues all the way to Rookie ball I'd definitly use them for my fictional mlb setup that i usually play.
Thanks alot and Keep up the good work

Major League Baseball Logo Pack
v0.2 - June 8, 2009

I've revised the logo pack to include all subsidiary leagues (Class AAA, AA, A and Rookie Leagues). League logos have also been created.

Looking for feedback (colors, graphical errors, etc) on the latest set.

I haven't checked the latest version (in which you said you updated minor league logos), but the Orioles logo has changed for 2009. Here's a link to the new version: Baltimore Orioles Logos - American League (AL) - Chris Creamer's Sports Logos Page - SportsLogos.Net

NM - you updated it already. Good job

IS there any way that I can get these to work in an existing game?

Sure. Delete all existing logos in the the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\*USER NAME*\My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\saved_games\*LEAGUE NAME*.lg\news\html\images

A restart should re-establish with the logos located in the 'logos' folder. Just make sure you shut down the game, delete the logos, add the new logos to the 'logos' folder, and then restart OOTP X.

On the outset, these look fantastic -- the inclusion of color codes is immensely appreciated. I'll report back if I have any more specific feedback, but for now: great job!

They look good but I did notice that the Princeton Rays of the Appalachian league had their old logo and there colors are the same as the Tampa Bay Rays.

This is exactly the type of feedback I've been looking for.

I've updated the Princeton Rays to reflect the logo change for this season. I've also included the individual logo below for anyone who would rather not re-download the entire set.

Essentially use the same instructions as noted in the enclosed read me file. For simplicity, I'll indicate the file path here.

/Mac HD/Documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 10/logos/

If you have an existing league, delete all files located in:

/Mac HD/Documents/Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\saved_games\Your League.lg\news\html\images

If you're not familiar with the file structures used in OOTP, you may want to consult the online manual.

Thanks for the feedback. I had a naming malfunction that didn't show up on my system tests. This has been fixed and should work properly now.

I've updated the set to include changes to Major League teams as related to naming specification changes in the 10.1.14 update. This set will no longer function properly in any other previous versions of OOTP X.

this is a weird problem, but when I use these logos, they all come up except Yankees, Mets, Cubs, White Sox and Cardinals. There may be one or two others as well, like 22 or so teams, it looksgreat, but these teams NEVER work despite my best efforts. Any ideas?

See the post right above yours. Did you download the latest version of the logos?

Can you specify your game platform and version?

This set has been tested on all three platforms using OOTP X 10.2.15. Naming specifications changed with 10.2.14, which should have affected only the Mets, Yankees, Cubs, White Sox, Dodgers and Angels. Upgrading to the latest patch should resolve these issues.
