Logo with Font - Couple Thoughts

I've found a logo I would like to use but I am running into a couple of issues.

1) I'd like to use the logo without the font, but can't seem to find it without. Is the only solution just carefully modifying the logo?

2) I'd like to use the font for uniforms but don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the logo.

If you can't find the logo without the wordmark, you don't really have a choice.

The font, unless I miss my guess, is IFC Hardball, or extremely close to it.
