Oh cruel fate...
So I create myself as a pitcher with a five star potential for the ammy draft in my fictional league. I get drafted 2nd overall by the Houston Toros and am rated the #8 top prospect. Well, in my first game as a pro in the minors, I don't even finish the inning, I get through two pitches before I tear my rotator cuff and am out for 4 months
![]() While it could be worse, I am crossing my fingers and am hopping I won't get a massive ratings hit. |

Ouch. Guess you should stick to managing.

Well, evidently the team thought the same as they dumped me after the season
![]() I got signed by the Boston Pilgrims and am playing in their minor league system now. All for the better, Houston had 4 of their 5 starting pitchers 4 or more stars and all 28 and under, so I have no idea why they used their first overall on me. |

I saw one pitcher that I created one time (luckily not me, just an anonymous pitcher). Suffer a CEI after 2/3 of an inning in his first pro start (AA).

I once lost two consecutive top prospect pitchers to CEI's in a row. It makes you want to throw something.

I had 4 starting pitchers go down with 10+ month tendon injuries buy June 1 in a 1900 sim, when pitchers used to throw tons of innings. I think it's time to tweak the injury frequency.
