Two questions

Hello guys.
I'm new to this game, and have two questions for you.

1.) Example: I want to trade Brett Tomko (quite old relief pitcher/spot starter for the Yankees), I don't want much in return just a few prospects. When I make a deal and the other team wants to make the deal aswell, I can't press "Make this deal!" because my manager thinks it's not a good deal. I think it is, but I still cant press the button. My manager suggests me to ask for another prospect, but when I add another prospect to get from the other team, he won't agree to the terms and wants another player from me.
How can I make that trade, eventhough my manager thinks the trade sucks ?

2.) I play in the major league in my own country. I almost certainly knows its possible, but can I recreate this league and also add the right players with the right names ? I reckon it will take some time, so I might just add fictional players. We only play 3 times a week, and play 40-50 games a year. It is possible to create this league for a newbie like me?
*Edit* With subdivision where every year the 1st team in the 1st class plays a playoff against the last team in de major league who promote's and who goes to the 1st class.
Thanks guys!

The 'Make This Deal Work Now' button is a request to the other team asking which of your players will make this deal work now based on the players you want. I think the button you are looking for is the 'Complete Trade' button at the very bottom right corner of the screen. That is how you finish a trade once you and the opponent's GM agree.

You can setup a fictional league to emulate this real league that you are in, except that OOTP does not allow a promotion and relegation setup in the game. Though you can manually promote and relegate the teams yourself at the end of the season, it's not exactly the same. And yes, it will probably take a long time to enter in all the players, but this should be easier with the new player editor.

Hope that answers your questions. Good Luck.
