Anyway to reset the financials?
I am using a custom financials.txt file that has lower salaries and attendance. So, I installed the lastest patch and didn't realize it replaced my financials.txt with the new default (with much larger salaries). The end of the season comes and it's arbitration time and my players are asking for exorbitant salaries. I reloaded my file and restarted the game but the player requests haven't changed. Is there any way to force OOTP to reload the financials?

If you look at the Rules tab in League setup, you will notice a bunch of financial parameters at the bottom of the page. Those are created from the financial DB at the start of each off-season. They are what govern financial activities in the game for a year. Just replacing the financial DB doesn't automatically change what is in those parameters at that moment. You could either change them manually to conform to your DB, or you could re-select your year in the Import Settings drop-down at the top of the Strategy tab, which would force a change to the financial parameters (along with some other settings). I don't know if this will fix things for arbitration or not, but it's worth a try.

Thanks, that sounds like it might work. I'll give it a shot and see.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. It must be a one time thing - when the season ends, OOTP reads from the financials file and sets the arbitration requests. Thanks for the suggestion though.
