Why can't i PLAY?

did i just buy a game where you only can manage the team but cannot play in it? any help please

Go into comminsioner mode and edit a current player to be you. Wa La!

Or join a softball league team, and get out there for some fresh air and exercise. Much better for you than what the rest of use are doing.
