I have finally decided that I love this game so much, that I want to fix the problem that has halted me from playing OOTP10 for months.

It doesn't load at 92% or something like thatr at the handle links and bookmarks section of the loading screen for a saved game.

THe game worked fine for a couple weeks, but then it always gives me the spinning wheel on my mac at that same spot. With OOTP 9, I have a similar problem, but I'll deal with that later.

Help please!

Never seen anything like that. So, I'll just start with this:

1. Is this a problem that is specific to a particular league (saved game) you've created, or is it happening in more than one league?

2. If it is just for a particular league, then it would seem like something has gotten corrupted in that saved game folder. In your shoes, I would try this: make a copy of your saved game, then experiment by trashing the two files in the page_links folder the saved game. Try to launch the game after trashing those files. I assume the game will re-create them during launch. Or maybe not. Don't know.

OTOH, you may find that the two files that should be in that folder are already missing, which would be a pretty good indicator of what the problem is.

3. If it's a problem that seems to affect every league you create, then we have a different issue. Most likely your OOTP application is damaged and needs to be replaced, but I suppose there could be other possibilities along those lines.

That's just my way of giving you some things to investigation unless and until someone with better ideas comes along.
