"Open Almanac" Link not working

OOTP 10, latest version as of 8/29/09, Mac OSX. Open Almanac links appear after each year's almanac is created, but clicking on them does nothing. I have both Safari and Firefox installed.

Workaround, of course, is navigating to the location on the disk and opening the index.html.

I filed a bug report on this a few weeks ago. Apparently this does not affect all Mac users (or at least I couldn't find any others during Beta). I don't know why this is, or what the chances of fixing it are. The other similar problem I have is that the Function Key option doesn't work for me (I can designate a function key, but when I hit the key nothing happens). How about you? What is the rest of the your hardware/software config?
