player pictures for my fictional league

I recently started a 12 team fictional league I'm really enjoying. I play in God-mode and play out every game. I went through the names, doing some editing until I was happy that each name sounded legit. So, I'm getting a good feel for these guys.

Now, I think I'd like to get pictures of real-life players. I think I read somewhere a guy who uses college photos. Anyone have a link to a site with major college program photos?

Also, if I use these photos, how do I name them so that they show up properly, do I get .jpg, or .bmp, and will I need to do any cropping?
