Creating a Historical League

I made a league starting in 1926 and used the logos and pics from Padrefan's site and I have a few questions:

1. To get the player pictures, I just copied and pasted a couple decades worth of pictures into the photos folder and called it a day. I did have a couple players with the same name so I was wondering: Is there a better way to import player pictures and how can I solve my problem with duplicate names?

2. I feel like injuries are a problem and occur too frequently. Is the best fix to simply lower the Injury Frequency to very low?

3. I looked around about how to do this but I couldn't find any answers. How do I go about adding new player pictures or logos to the league after its creation? I think I have the logos down by going into the editor but I don't understand how to update the player pictures from the photo folder if that is what you are supposed to do.

also,

If I want to create a league that takes place in the sixties, what would be the best way to separate the player photos so that this duplicate name thing doesn't happen.

1) You can edit a player's name in OOTP if you're playing as the Commissioner. That way the older Frank Thomas can be Frank J. Thomas and the newer one can simply be Frank Thomas. You just need to edit the name of the photo as well.

2) It is the only fix. Unless you want to get involved with editing the injury database yourself. I play with injuries on Low or Very Low.

3) With player photos, you just drop it into the news > html > images folder for your saved league (making sure to copy over the old photo if one exists) and then go into OOTP and a player profile's page. The new photo should show up.

4) Renaming photos/players.
