Salaries/Financial?

I am playing a season using the Cooperstown rosters and started my league. I selected make fictional contracts for my players in the function mode and they all received starting salaries of $400,000. which is fine, except they will all have the same service time and will all become free agents at the same time. Then what happens????. Is there any way to make sure that all 1200 players or so don't all become free agents at the same time?

Yes, you can generate contracts for all players from the league setup menu. They won't all have the minimum anymore, however.

I already tried that. Originally the game setup was without any financials at all. I selected make fictionial player contracts and they all came out at $400,000 I have reselected the same option but nothing changes. They all still have $400,000 contracts, all with the same service time.

Oh, OK.....I understand....

This is actually how I prefer my leagues to start.

You won't have a problem with everyone becoming FA's at the same time because of extensions and what not.

You just wont't have ANY FA's for a while, except the ones that were cut....

Thanks, I was hoping that a bunch would be resigned before their contracts were up. I appreciate the response
