Auto adjust league totals option
While making a historical league in advanced mode, I noticed the setting that reads "Automatically adjust league totals modifiers after each season for historical accuracy" can be found on the leagues "Options" tab (near the bottom of "Historical Progressing Options") and then also on the leagues "Strategy & Equivalencies" tab (one of two options in "Historical Modifier & Tools Options).
Is there a reason for the same setting twice? Does one do something slightly different than the other, with the exact same wording? Or is it the exact same option found twice? If the latter, what really happens when I have these two options disagreeing with each other? Will it open a black hole in the middle of my monitor? ![]() EDIT: I noticed the other option found on "Strategy & Equivalencies" tab, "Automatically import historical player-creation modifiers", is found on the "Options" tab, and not at all on the "Strategy & Equivalencies" tab when you are looking at a minor league instead of a major league. (The option I mention in the first paragraph is also on both tabs in minor leagues). Why do major and minor league option menus vary so greatly? I know they operate differently, but similar options should be found in similar places for ease of the user, no? Last edited by Horks; 07-25-2009 at 12:55 PM. |
