Overriding team strategies

Ok, a bit confused here. I've set my team strategies and now wanted to tinker with just a few guys personal strategies.

If I only want to adjust ONE setting for a particular player, such as baserunning aggressiveness, should I be using "override" or "adjust" to team strategies?

I'd like everything else to be on par with the team. I was going to select "override" as I was thinking, "Oh, no problem I'll just set this player's others info to how the team is set." The problem with this though is that some game situations are different and I'd like this player to reflect those as well.

I hope this makes sense.

My understanding has always been that if you don't select the override option, the game will ignore the individual-player strategy settings.

If you want to set individual player strategies, you're sacrificing being able to set that player's strategies for particular game situations.

Keep in mind that the game is already making adjustments for the game situation. Your strategy settings are compliments to the the general situational strategy that the game is applying at all times, for all teams.

You're basically getting correct answers here. You have to set it to override, and you have to adjust all his sliders, both for those things you want different from the team and those things you want to be about the same.

I seldom use the individual strategies, because I think they're best for very exceptional situations, and as time goes on I've decided that there aren't very many really exceptional situations. So, I suggest reserving it for a moment when you start thinking "boy, the team strategies really aren't working for this guy! I need to do something about that." That's my
