Team Budgets Beyond Inaugural (Expansion Teams)

So my league wants to use budgets based on population for the inaugural draft. Problem is that we plan on expanding after season one or two to four more teams and I cannot figure out how to make them come into the league with a budget based on population. Any help?

What do you mean by "based on population"? Are you determining this outside of OOTP?

Nope! One of the new features in OOTPX is when you do an inaugural draft, one of the options is to base the budget of the teams in it based on their cities population and based on the financials of the league as a whole I am sure. Now I just can't figure out how to make it so expansion teams sort of follow having their initial budgets based on population as well.

My apologies, I don't have a great answer for that one.

If you want a round-about way to do this, I would suggest that you recreate your league with the new expansion teams, using the "based on population" feature. You could note the budgets and then manually transfer them when you expand.

I wouldn't necessarily give up on your first question, someone else may be able to tell you definitively yes or no.

I was going to make the same suggestion. That's probably the easiest answer to your issue.
