questions about position Ratings/Range Factors
Since I haven't played a historical game w/recalc on for some time (and at least two versions of the game) I have a simple question about the "base position ratings on entire career" feature. How does it work with pitchers turned position players or vice versa ? Will they continue to have both pitcher and position player ratings forever ? (This would mean it would theoretically be possible to use Babe Ruth as a pitcher around 1930 or so ...)
A second thing I encountered when setting up my 1871 historical league was the new range factor for position players. Is there any advice if (and how) I should modify it for 19th century leagues to get somewhat realistic defensive stats ? I found some very good values for the league total modificators in 1871 around this forum (thanks Spritze!) that result in real good offensive numbers - may anybody help me with the range factors as well ? Thanks a lot in advance !

Players are either a P or not, not both, Ruth is an OF has no P experience nor rating when using base on career.
