BZ 3291: Inaugural Draft: All pitchers made 2Bs/1Bs/Cs
I set up a new Fictional League and set it up for an inaugural draft. In the position column of the draft pool, it only shows a couple pitchers (I found only 2 out of a few hundred players I looked at in the draft). When I sort by pitching statistics, I can find a lot of players with pitching stats, but they are almost all listed as 2Bs, with a couple 1Bs and Cs. But when you open up their player profile, it shows that it is indeed a pitcher.
Also, noticed that if you sort by OVR on the Pitching Ratings screen, I get inconsistent numbers from what the scouting report in the player profile says. So for instance, there is a closer with a 76/80 rating from the scouting report on the player profile screen. But in the draft pool screen, he only shows up as a 40/80 OVR. Very Frustrating! |

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding.
I've tried several fictional leagues and looking at the inaugural draft pool and I cannot replicate this issue. Have you by any chance got a filter turned on - click on the filter button and choose 'clear' if it's available. If you have got a filter turned on, could you zip up your .dat files and FTP them to us as per the instructions in http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-files-us.html and we'll have a look at it.

Inaugural Draft
Tried to search this couldn't find it
but I started a custom league with every league selected. I set the MLB to have an inaugural draft with fixed budgets. By round 15, every pitcher left had 2B listed as their position, even though when you opened the player profiles the players had good pitching attributes. I also had a lot of crashes which I think might have been due to the large size of the world. Also, occasionally the position select box would vanish and I would have to goto the draft options screen and come back to the pool to change positions. I will try to reproduce if necessary. I have encountered the same problem with an inaugural draft, but only after I had drafted a few players and then cleared the rosters and restarted the draft.

I've seen this same issue: Starting with current MLB, releasing all players and scheduling an inaugural draft, then restructuring league (deleting teams, etc). During the draft, lots of pitchers are listed as 2B.
Weird. |

Merged threads.
To clarify, has anyone seen this behavior without changing the league structure mid-draft or releasing players who have been drafted mid-draft? |

This was logged as BZ 3291 and was marked fixed for the first patch.
