The FAQ section of the forum is extremely helpful with some great work. But I'm at little unclear about something.
Do the FAQ's apply equally well to OOTP4 & OOTP3 (except as noted naturally) or are there some that aren't as applicable to the latest version. Specifically, I'm wondering about the Iatric db mentioned in the Historical League FAQ being just as useful for v4 and whether Lee's ballpark factors need further adjustment for v4. Also, in the detailed expansion tutorial, does everything listed there in such outstanding detail still apply to v4. Thanks in advance for replies, I'm hoping to start a 20's era historic career by working closely with those guidelines but (given my luck lately) I'd like to avoid any unneccssary glitches caused by my overlooking something. Jon,
The one's currently listed in the FAQ forum are updated for v4, but I believe for the most part will do well with v3 with some adaptation. The Iatric DB does work as well w/ v4 as with v3 BUT I don't think it has been updated to include the 2001 season as of yet. I could be wrong however. The expansion tutorial works like a charm, I have had ZERO problems in using it. Nothing has become scrabbled to the wrong team, no crashes, all histories are in place. There are more to come with time.

Way cool.
Thanks for the quick reply (I saw you were on, kinda thought that might happen *g*) IMO, that's one of the better collection of detailed game FAQ's I've seen. Tons of very detailed stuff there. Jon |
