Do you set Ballpark Factors to Favor your Team?

I set my ballpark factors to favor my first roster when I start a universe. Im wondering if others do this? Or do some of you think its cheating? My new team kind of resembles the Orioles of the 70's with very good pitching and power. I use the assign random factors button till I get something I like. What are your thoughts?

Well since you didn't have a "I don't but you can play your game the way you want" I went with cheating.

Temper that with I really don't care and you can play anyway you want to, but you did ask. Also I only play with real teams and parks. If you mean it's a fictional world and you are manicuring your park to your team as if it was always that way then I can see your point. However to be fair to the league you should be doing it for all teams, IMHO.

I let the AI do the initial draft for my team after the first pick so I dont have this option. However, after the initial draft and setup, I do this too.

I set neutral park factors for all teams.
So no, everyone is on an even footing.

I also turn ballpark factors off,I just find them to be way way too potent for my liking.

For the fullest simulation experience you really should build your team to suit your park like real teams do and not vice versa.

It's not cheating, though, because your only opponent is the AI.

I do like Bill Veeck did when he owned the minor league team in Milwaukee. He put a 40' screen up in right field, on wheels. When Milwaukee was at bat the screen was rolled into foul territory. When the visitors were up, it was back in play.

I always thought the dagblasted American Association commissioner overstepped his bounds when he declared that illegal after one game.

I've never changed my stadium. I don't think it's cheating or anything, but I just leave stuff like that as it is.

I picked 'consider it cheating'.

I never have touched these settings, I figure play with what I have.. I conisdier modifying this just like pumping up a players ratings.. not fair.
