Yeah, I'm NOT a fan of Hampton....however, I DO believe in how Mazzone can take a pitcher who is useless and turn him around. If it happens in this case, it wouldn't be the first time(Burkett, Hammonds, Holmes.....)

He's gonna ask for $20M with Boras as his agent. I wonder how the Braves play the rest of their actions knowing they will likely be killed by Maddux in arbitration. You may cheer keeping him (and understandably so) but if it keeps you from getting a first baseman who isn't 80 years old or bullpen help, how much does it help?
