Hopefully this hasn't already been posted. I didn't find it in a search. Some examples:

06-14-2009 Injured (hamstring strain), out for 4-5 months.
09-26-2009 Injury setbacks result in end of career.
09-26-2009 Suffered setback in recovery from injury, will miss an another 6 weeks.
09-26-2009 Released by the New York (A) organization.
09-29-2009 Retired from professional baseball.

06-14-2009 Injured (torn meniscus (knee)), out for 3 months.
08-06-2009 Suffered setback in recovery from injury, will miss an another 3 months.
10-05-2009 Injury setbacks result in end of career.
10-05-2009 Suffered setback in recovery from injury, will miss an another 4 weeks.
10-05-2009 Released by the Milwaukee organization.
10-31-2009 Retired from professional baseball.

06-11-2009 Injured (broken hand), out for 4 months.
10-08-2009 Injury setbacks result in end of career.
10-08-2009 Suffered setback in recovery from injury, will miss an another 2 weeks.

That "injury setback results in end of career" line should be left out.
