Weird Scouting Predictions

I'm trying out the trial version, and for every player my scout tells me I can expect a 0.070/0.070/0.070 season with 0 HR from them. Has this happened to anyone else before and are there any tips to fix this? I'm not sure if it matters but I signed a new scout a couple of game days ago, so that may have some sort of effect. Any help/advice appreciated.

On the player profile page under the socuting tab. This is specifically what it says.

SUMMARY:
"As an offensive player, Beltre is right around the league average, maybe a touch above. His consistency makes him a solid offensive contributor. You can probabloy expect a .070/.070/.070 season from him."

This is the same type of predication that every player in the game now has. Not actually a big deal I suppose, since I can still just look at the players ratings to predict performance, but I'm not sure if this indicates a larger problem within the program.

Yes, I have seen this also. I'm not absolutely positive, but I think it means for some reason they aren't making good predictions. I think I may have seen this at the beginning of a game, or maybe before pre-season, or maybe after I fired and hired a new scout. But the problem eventually went away for me. I'm assuming it will go away for you also.

I believe this issue is being addressed in the new version. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I read someplace that it was.

Problem solved. After a couple weeks had gone by in the game the problem corrected itself, I imagine it just had something to do with hiring a new scout. Thanks for the replies everyone.

This happens when you don't have a Head Scout. It will stay like that until you hire a scout and he submits his scheduled reports (Jan 1 and a couple other times a year -I think). After you have hired him you can still request scouting reports on specific players.
