I think the game will be released by this weekend

Why? Because I'm going out of town on a fishing trip and then to a Memorial Day observance back East and won't be back home or near a computer until sometime next week. I figure for sure that Murphy will step in and adjust the release date to tomorrow or Saturday accordingly, so I'll get the email on my phone that the game's been released and be reduced to gnashing my teeth in frustration until I get back home.

If you've already preordered OOTP, what do you need more money for?

Plus, probably paying for future college courses, I'd bet.

I'm thinking tonight. That would give the pre-orders their two days and then the mass release over the weekend. That should help spread out the downloads.

I know this is going to sound like a fanboy post (of which it isn't, believe me, I was almost sure I wasn't going to purchase it as I do have issues), but am I the only one that's genuinely worried about Markus' health?

I've heard several references to it in the past and again recently. Whatever issues I have with the game, Markus certainly seems like one fine, decent fellow, and I'm just wondering if anyone else is as concerned as I am. I'm OK with a July release if that's what is best for his health. Certainly I'm not the only one with these concerns, am I?? Should I not be concerned?

This year is not the first year there has been mention of Markus' health. I remember near the release of the first version with SI there was mention Markus was under a lot of stress causing health issues because of it.

There was mention in his update that he was sick for 2 weeks, but he didn't say with what or why. It may have nothing to do with the game, just the flu or something.

The lack of updates and almost 100% silence from them is troubling. Maybe they are just heads do working to get the game out.

With no announced release date at this point, I don't see the game being released in May. I think we would know by now, but I'm nobody. What do I know?

Eat a banana at breakfast
Get plenty of vitamin C
Drink lots of water
