Ground Rule Double

I don't know why this popped into my mind just now, but if a batter hits a ground-rule double and there was a runner on first who reaches home before the ball is ruled a ground-rule double does the runner have to return to third base?

And if the batter reaches third before that point does he have to return to second?

As far as I know, yes to both, but I defer to people with better knowledge than me.

If it is fan interference, and the batter is awarded second base, then I believe that the umpire has the discretion to allow the runner on first to score.

This ain't your run of the mill, one-bouncer into the cheap seats.
