BaseballMan Hall Of Famer Join Date: Jan 2002 Posts: 6,647	using recalc with players sitting out a year. How do you guys handle a historical player who sits out a year and then comes back. Im using 3 year recalc but i had Bobby Mitchell go from like 50 k's to 347 in the year he had no real life stats. Would it be better to use 1 year recalc or just temporary retire all players who took some years off. What if a player retires in 1930 and then comes back 5 years later in 1935? Does the game calculate his stats on 1933-1935 or 1927-1930?
