New League Formed

EBL started on Oct 14th with just an idea. It has formed into a great league full of great owners hand picked by myself. I have over 5 years OOTP expierence and i am currently co-commish for Field of Dreams Baseball League [san diego padres] as well as former co-commish for World Series Baseball League [Former Team, Baltimore Orioles but due to EBL i resigned] We are looking for eight teams to be filled by December fourth when we plan on starting our initial draft. The D'Backs, Brewers, Pirates, Marlins, Expos, O's, Royals, and Tampa Bay are currently the only teams left. All markets were set to avg, all fan interest was set to avg, and 50. Each team has 5 millon dollars in cash. Check out the rules if you want to learn more of the incentives we have. Like one millon dollars for the top 10 teams in the league, and a compensation player for the worst three teams.

Don't mind all the stats and news stories on the side of the homepage. Those are just fillers until the league gets started.

There are five teams left.
Royals
Devil Rays
Brewers
Pirates
Expos

We are using real rosters with a initial draft. So these teams are starting from scratch. If you have ever wanted to get into a league and start from the begining this is your chance. Please indiacate how much time you normally spend online[AIM] daily because it is very important to this league. I will be stressing the utmost activity.

just curious as to how you have 5 years of OOTP experience........the 5th version isnt out yet and each version runs for one season, if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: Spot is filled, sorry. Lots of "buzz" about this league. Still taking on a waiting list, or assistant GM, or a league reporter. Check out the site!

i noticed on your webpage, that there is no owner listed for Tampa Bay. If that team is open, i would be interested in filling the position. that is as long as i don't have to own the game.

I'm not sure if the Devil Rays are taken, but you can be the Assistant GM to my team, Montreal Expos. If the commish allows it.

Devil Rays are full. I will allow it, and encourage it. You two contact each other, and then email me and let me know. Only problem is, he doesn't own the game, to be a GM you have to, assistant its not required.

The phillies just opened up. A guy quit saying he was in 8 leagues. Inital draft is Sunday at 6pm[cali time] and it will be on AIM. Owning the game is a must, so is AOL AIM. If interested, email me @ ebleague@yahoo.com
