Need Scheduling Help

Okay as many of you can tell i have a hard time pushing forward for long. The biggest obstacle i have is in getting a good system in place for scheduling fights. Right now i am using a spreadsheet which i will admit is a pain. I have been following the progress of the Excel 2007 spreadsheet shceduler and really like the idea but alas do not have 2007. I would like to expand my pool of fighters but have not because of the record keeping aspect. Any ideas suggestions that you guys are using to schedule things. I have used parts of MH and Conn Chris's ideas for their universes but neither really seems to work for me. With the new scheduler within the game this should really be easier.

This may not be what you want to do but I fight the current fighters when they really fight. Also, when the champs defend their IBF or WBA belt, etc. in real life, that's when my champ defends his belt too. It spreads out my title defenses across almost all 52 weeks of the year & gives me fights to look forward to both in real life & my universe!
