new to the game
I've been in leagues before but I never had a game of my own, so I have a couple of questions.
Firstly- How come the scale is 1-20 and not 1-100? secondly- I hear people talking about roster packs. So what are they, and how do you go about getting them, and uploading them to your game? Thanks for the help... |

1) That, like almost everything else in the game, can be changed. Go to your top menu where it says Game, then Game Setup and under Global Setup you'll see the option to change the rating scales from 1 to 5 all the way to 1 to 100.
2) Rosters can be found here in the mod forum. They are essentially just different groups of players to create your league around. Some files need to be copied over your Lahman database, others can be loaded exactly like saved games. Depends on what you download. |

Our own Mods Forum (Cubbyfan's work is recommended): Rosters, Photos, and Quick-Starts - OOTP Developments Forums The great, and recently redesigned (fabulous) volunteer web site for OOTP mods: OOTP Templates * 3. Modders often include instructions with their downloads, and further information could be found in the online OOTP manual: OOTP Baseball Manual - OOTP 9 * This is the page for roster mods only. Check out the other mods available by clicking the menu bar. By the way, beware the roster mods that are indicated for OOTP 2007. You may need to own the previous version of OOTP (2007/8) to set some of them up first, save them, and then convert them to OOTP 9 by using the Import OOTP 2007/8 Game menu option. Others you may be able to import directly into OOTP 9.EDIT: Whoa, I see my colleague Kelric came in with a more succinct answer in the time it took me to put this wordy reply together.
