Ok,ill set the stage for you, In my current HW Universe,a 16-2 preprime 15 rated Muhammed Ali,who i was managing,verses a 1-2 beginning,1 rated Rocky Salonoa. In a scheduled 12 rounder. After 2 rounds im killin em,then it happens, in the 3rd round,Salonoa breaks Ali`s jaw,the ref stops it ,fight over,Salonoa,the winner. My jaw dropped to the floor,a 1 rated fighter just beat a 15 rated fighter. A rare thing but its cool that something like that can happen once in a blue moon.

Upsets are what make this game. My favorite is seeing an upset by decision or KO. Cuts and injuries are great also but those are kind of flukes. When a 3 takes a UD10 over a 10 that is truly amazing.

What a huge upset. I remember seeing Rocky Salanoa fight Jimmy Thunder at Melbourne's Festival Hall years ago, and poor Rocky got smashed to pieces in a round.

The record copied into the person's post did not bring the formatting with it. In the original formatting, I am sure you will see a database field with a blank in the deased column, indicating that Rocky is still indeed alive.

I'm sure Scoman meant no harm and feels very bad for your misinterpretation of the data, as do we all.

As Kevin mentioned, the reference to a date of death was an empty bio box signifying that he was not in fact deceased but it did not cut and paste well here and can understandably be a source of irritation for you.

The year of birth was what boxrec.com had at the time (likely several years ago). They may have the correct date now and if not would love to here from a family member with correct information.

I could do without the name calling and shouting though.

One of the obvious problems when we are accessed through Google by people who don't understand boxrec. I'll bet this is more attention and space than old Rocky ever got when he was boxing!
