complaining about playing time

This is a but of a minor irritation, but should guys hitting under the mendoza line be complaining about not getting enough playing time? If I were a manager and a player did this I'd tell him 'how about shutting your pie hole and start hitting the freaking baseball! Maybe then you'll earn yourself some more playing time!'

This game is a "work in progress" and most don't seem to realize all of the possible detail that has gone into the game already and that could go into the game in the future. Features like this have been discussed and considered and may be a part of the game in the future but it is virtually impossible to include everything like this at this point.

Markus and company do want feedback from us tho- otherwise this forum would not exist. Try not to get so upset about the responses you get. Trust me, Markus IS interested in what you have to say, just don't expect a time table on things getting implemented, or a guarantee that a particular bug/idea will GET implemented.

The customary response from 3DO has been: " "

I don't think we'll ever be 100% satisfied with this (or any other) game. But I think Markus, et al, are pretty darn responsive. If you're patient, most problems will get attention.

As for those griping .199 hitters, I imagine they think if they got more playing time, they'd show you what they can REALLY do (like hit .202

)

Do you think that Markus has programmed such players to go into "Operation Shutdown" is they aren't getting enough playing time.

Sometimes I laugh because a lot of the things that people are bothered by happen in real life. It might not be as often as it is in the game, but it happens. Long live Derek Bell.
